Parade of Lights

I attended the Avera Parade of Lights this evening in downtown Sioux Falls. There were many beautiful entries including locamotives, boats, motorcycles and hot air balloons. I was able to meet many new people and also share Ronald McDonald House tatoos with the spectators. Downtown Sioux Falls was the place to be tonight!!

Winter Wonderland

I attended the 7th Annual Winter Wonderland at Falls Park tonight. Mayor Dave Munson and his team did a great job organizing this annual event. There were holiday festivities for all ages including reindeer and camel, Santa and Mrs. Claus, horse-drawn wagon rides, ice sculptures, dancers and more. Camp Bring It On Fundraiser

Today I attended the Camp Bring It On fundraiser in Sioux Falls. There were many in attendance to help raise money to benefit children with cancer. Maxine Smith did a great job organizing the event.

Canton Veteran's Day Program

I spent the day in Canton. It was great to see so many people at the Veteran's Day Program. Cheryl Johnson did an excellent job coordinating the details for the event. The Lincoln County Cruisers presented each of 37 WWII veterans with a special gift. My father and Nathan's grandfather were two of the veterans honored for their service in the military. Thank you to everyone who has served to keep our freedoms and protect our country.

Miss NSU, Miss Hub City and Miss South Dakota State Fair Pageants

Tonight will be a very fun evening. Little Miss Canton Gabriella Isais, her mother Sheila, Junior Miss Canton Mackenzie Halverson & I will be travelling to Aberdeen for the Miss Hub City, Miss Northern State University & Miss South Dakota State Fair pageants. It will be a great trip across the state with some awesome ladies!!
