St. Patrick's Day Parade

Today, I rode through the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Sioux Falls. It was great to see so many people out for the festivities and all of the profits from the button sales went to support the Special Olympics of South Dakota. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!!!

International Women's Day 2010

Today I was a guest speaker at the International Women's Day celebration at Falls Park in Sioux Falls. This is the 100th year of the event and the first celebration held in Sioux Falls.

Go Red for Women Luncheon

The Go Red for Women Luncheon was held at the Holiday Inn City Centre in downtown Sioux Falls. I was asked to be part of the Diva Wall, what a blast!! It was great to see so many familiar faces including the mayor, doctors, community leaders, co-workers, friends and family all in attendance to support fighting heart diesase and stroke. Vern Eide Motorcars sponsored the tribute wall where my father's picture was displayed with details of the hidden signs of his heart attack.

Thank you to the volunteers, board members, speakers and survivors. This is a story about a woman I know that had a heart transplant at the age of 12.

Winterfest of Wheels

Today I signed autographs, greeted guests and sold raffle tickets for for the Cure Kids Cancer benefit at the 2nd annual Winterfest of Wheels carshow in Sioux Falls.
