Ronald McDonald visits Sioux Falls

Yesterday I was invited to attend the Ronald McDonald Get Active program at Garfield Elementary School in Sioux Falls. Ronald was in town for only 3 days so I was excited to be part of the events. Ronald did a great job motivating the students to get active, showing off his magical skills and encouraging the children. I am very proud to have the Ronald McDonald House Charities as my platform.

I attended the Avera Parade of Lights this evening in downtown Sioux Falls. There were many beautiful entries including locamotives, boats, motorcycles and hot air balloons. I was able to meet many new people and also share Ronald McDonald House tatoos with the spectators. Downtown Sioux Falls was the place to be tonight!!

Winter Wonderland
I attended the 7th Annual Winter Wonderland at Falls Park tonight. Mayor Dave Munson and his team did a great job organizing this annual event. There were holiday festivities for all ages including reindeer and camel, Santa and Mrs. Claus, horse-drawn wagon rides, ice sculptures, dancers and more. Be sure to check out beautiful Falls Park this Christmas!
